Calipri Add-On Modules

Radial/axial runout

Measures ovality, eccentricity and axial run-out of wheels. The tripod and trigger wedge pattern included with the module are used for measurement.

Switch

Measures the crosses and points of the switch: the width and depth of the trough, the width and lowering of the center of the crosspiece, the width of the head, the difference in heights of the points, the gradient of the crest in the points.

Wheel Defects

Measures the depth and width of the defect in the measurement section – spallings and slidflats. Distinguishes critical defects from non-critical ones.

Rails

Measures the characteristics and parameters of rail wear: width and radius of the head, height wear, side wear, calculates the area of   the worn part of the rail head. Suitable for all types of rails and grooved rails.

Track geometry

The CALIPRI Track Geometry measurement module evaluates track gauge, superelevation, and rail slope. In addition, he directly calculates the twist to detect irregularities in place and directly initiate the necessary maintenance work

Wheel profile

CALIPRI Wheel Profile evaluates wear and accuracy of railway vehicles without human error

Equivalent conicity

The Equivalent Conicity module CALIPRI C4X calculates equivalent conicity of your system a wheel rail, using real data or standard profiles.

Tyre Thickness

Measures the thickness of the rim in a few seconds. For measurement, templates are installed on the end surfaces of the wheel, which are included in the module supply.

Wheel clearance

Measures the distance between the inner faces (or inter-band distance) on the wheelset of rail vehicles. For measurement, a template with a spring mechanism is used, which is installed between the wheels.

Wheel diameter

Defines the diameter of the rail wheel. The measurement requires an appropriate template that is included with the module.

Brake disc

Measures the thickness and wear of brake discs in a rolling circle.
